The nearly $2 million worth of
improvements started in 2002 at the Tionesta
Recreation Area Campground and have impacted all
of the park’s 125 campsites. Improvements
included paving work, upgrades to restroom and
bathing facilities, and installation of water,
sewer and electric service. Cable television
service will also be installed at each site.
The vast improvements to the U.S. Army Corps of
Engineers campground will cost campers a rate of
$25 per night. This fee is in line with other
campgrounds in the area.
The Tionesta Recreation Area Campground is an
asset to the area and will continue to draw
campers and those searching for outdoor
recreation. |
